Organiser's Comments Thank you to everyone who attended this often neglected event, even with the terrible shock of some snow actually falling in this part of the world.

I hope nobody was to confused by the complicated second master map system, most people seemed to manage fine. It is interesting to note that Mr Donaldson (the winner) was in fact the ONLY person who chose to do the map memory controls as a second leg, and won the event by a clear 60 points. Maybe this will encourage people to practise their map memory technique?

Although two controls 'disappeared' I am glad to say that D10 appears to have been removed after 11:45, and no-one on the score course seems to have approached the site of the missing D1... and after I ran all that way to put it out there too! Two controls were missing from the yellow course, but personally I feel it could have been a lot worse.

Again thanks to everyone for coming... please come again next year now you know it can actually be enjoyable to run around on freezing December mornings!!
